The Stranger

A little nibble a little prick
And in you came, as in the tales
Chivalrous! We welcomed you in
As you let yourself, the guest be
But alas, you debase us
Yea we fought for our motherland
But ours no more could it be
As you rule with an iron fist
Tyranny t’is thine trademark.

Your Silence

Your silence,

Shall clasp my heart numb
Bleed it till it hurts
Turn your eyes once more
Flee till I’m diseased
I’ll bask in forlorn
How shall I eat of your love?
How shall I know to return?

I’m not quite sure how the name fits… Words flee from me, it seems. I guess this will suffice.

I’ll heed sweet revenge’s lovely cry
As I lay in plot for your life
To rip at your lone heart tonight
And you shall have to hold none else
In misery back to mine abode
And you’d crawl to my stone-cold self
And I shall warm your heart to stone!

Maybe the sky will swallow the sun
And maybe the river will just not run

Maybe time will pass, in reverse
Or maybe we are more than just specks in the universe

Maybe these and more are true,
Like maybe I’m alright without you…

In the shadows lay one,
A victim of self,
The spoil of shame
She releases herself to
The familiar pleasure of pain
A loud brood,
A familiar stranger.
Please don’t let her slip away.

Intelligence can be measured on scales, however inaccurate we claim these scales are. True beauty is an objective observation, otherwise it is a lie that people sometimes believe to make things easier.

Wealth is, by far, the most important determinant of social stratification. You see, wealth guarantees entry into circles that beauty, intelligence, hard work and even luck do not. Beauty comes in a very close second. For the rare few that are beautiful enough, beauty is powerful enough control wealth. The zeitgeist is determined by the rich and the beautiful. In effect, they direct everything just by the choices they make and sometimes do not even notice. People shy away from being the first to point out the beauty…
